This morning i woke up in a great mood. I mean, what’s not to be happy about? … I got one for ya; sporting teams losing! After rising from my slumber i proceeded to do the first thing most people do in this technologically driven society the 21st Century has developed into, check my phone. Upon viewing the 7 or so notifications left behind from the wondrous app “ESPN Scorenet”, i learned that United lost their second game in a row in somewhat embarrassing circumstances. Going down 3 zip to recently faltering Newcastle. I then discovered that half way through the NBA game at Madison Square Gardens NYC, the Knicks were down by 15 at the half to the MJ owned Charlotte Bobcats. Long story short, the 2 minutes of reading following my awakening, delved me into a somewhat sombre mood. However, this was quickly squashed thanks to my lovely girlfriends cooking ability and then being able to eat aforementioned food in front of the TV whilst Michael Clarke became only the third Australian to hit a test triple century on home soil. Overall, minus the two teams i follow losing, it was a pretty cash morning.
